The place
Welcome to 'Leuk aan Zee', a comfortable and well-kept apartment in a remarkable spot in the heart of Ostend. From the living room you look straight out over the Wapenplein and its characterful bandstand. Large windows fill the apartment with natural light and put you in the front row for the life of the city.
The apartment sleeps up to four guests. There is a separate bedroom with a comfortable double bed, and the living room holds a proper double sofa bed.
The spacious living area has comfortable seating, a dining area and a Smart TV with digital cable television. Free wifi is available throughout the apartment.
The kitchen is fully equipped so you can cook comfortably, even on a longer stay. It includes an oven, a microwave, a fridge with freezer compartment, a dishwasher, a Senseo coffee machine and a classic coffee maker.
The apartment is on the second floor and is reachable by lift. A ceiling fan adds comfort on warmer days. For the youngest guests, a cot and a high chair are available.
The location is one of its great strengths. From the apartment you walk to the beach and the promenade in a few minutes. Shops, restaurants, cafés and many sights are close by, and Ostend station is within walking distance.
On arrival you are welcomed personally by our host, 'De Kustbeheerder', who remains your local point of contact throughout your stay for practical questions or whenever you need a hand.
A comfortable base for anyone who wants to experience Ostend from the middle of the city.
Guest access
Guests have the entire apartment to themselves for the duration of their stay.
The apartment is on the second floor and can be reached by lift or by stairs.
On arrival you are welcomed personally by De Kustbeheerder. We hand over the keys and are glad to walk you through everything practical about the apartment and your stay.
Good to know
- The apartment is on the second floor of a residential building and is reachable by lift.
- Because of the central location on the Wapenplein, city sounds can be audible at times.
- The apartment has no air conditioning. There is a ceiling fan in the living room, the kitchen, the entrance hall and the bedroom.
- Smoking and vaping are not permitted. Pets, parties and events are not allowed.
- We ask our guests to be considerate of the building’s permanent residents and to respect the quiet in the building.
